About Me:

I am a graduate of Eastern University where I earned Masters of Education in Multicultural Education, and received my Pennsylvania Education Certification in Elementary K-6 as well as Social Studies 7-12.  I enjoy reading, writing, and playing volleyball or tennis in my free time, and I've been in a leadership position of my church's children's ministry since 2008.  I have been a member of the Boy Scouts of America since I was twelve, and it was through this organization that I first felt led to becoming a teacher.  After I became an Eagle Scout I stayed active in my troop and worked directly with first-year scouts, teaching them the skills needed to advance through the ranks.  This experience is one of the main factors that led me to where I am today.
